Construction

Construction works commenced on 29th June 2026.

The construction period is 46 weeks with a completion date set for 14th May 2027. Winvic are the main contractor appointed to carry out the works. Some of the key milestones for the project are noted below;

• Works commencement – 29th June 2026
• Completion of earthworks (including processing of crushed material) – 25th September 2026
• Steel frame – 26th October 2026 – 11th December 2026
• Wall cladding – 9th November 2026 – 2nd April 2027
• Roof cladding – 23rd November 2026 – 19th March 2027
• Warehouse floor slab – 15th February 2027 – 9th April 2027
• Office works – 9th November 2026 – 14th May 2027
• Completion of works – 14th May 2027

The completion of the earthworks is currently in delay by approximately 2 weeks. Winvic have encountered underground obstructions that required removal and they have also lost several days due to dry weather where works have had to stop on site as a result of high dust levels. In addition to this, following feedback from residents, the contractor also paused earthwork activities to allow repositioning of stockpiled material and installation of membrane covers to topsoil to prevent dust spread. Despite the delays with earthworks, the contractor has provided assurances that the project remains on track to complete on 14th May 2026.
